Our client is seeking a HCM Functional Consultant in Chicago, IL .
Role Description
We are seeking an Oracle HCM (Human Capital Management) Functional Consultant to play a crucial role in implementing and supporting Oracle HCM applications.
Responsibilities:
• Requirement Analysis: Work closely with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements related to human resources, payroll, benefits, and other HCM functions.
• System Configuration: Configure Oracle HCM modules to meet business needs, including Core HR, Payroll, Benefits, Talent Management, and Learning Management.
• Implementation: Lead or participate in the implementation of Oracle HCM solutions, ensuring alignment with business processes and requirements.
• Testing: Develop and execute test plans to ensure the system meets functional requirements. Identify and resolve any issues.
• Training: Create training materials and conduct training sessions for end-users to ensure they are proficient in using the Oracle HCM system.
• Support: Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for Oracle HCM applications, addressing user issues and system enhancements.
• Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed documentation, including functional specifications, process flows, and user manuals.
• Collaboration: Work with technical teams to develop custom solutions, integrations, and reports as needed.
• Best Practices: Apply best practices in functional areas related to implementation and operations management.
Skills & Requirements
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or equivalent years of experience.
• 5+ years of experience in Oracle HCM implementation and support.
• Strong understanding of Oracle HCM modules and their functionalities.
• Configuration of Oracle HCM modules
• Requirements gathering and documentation skills
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in creating and executing test plans.
• Experience with project management methodologies is a plus.
Certifications:
• Oracle HCM Cloud certification is highly desirable.
