Position: Mortgage Servicing Regulatory Attorney (1700 Hours/ Competitive Comp)

I am a search firm assisting a small/mid-sized law firm with locating a strong attorney. The role is transactional and requires a transactional/regulatory focused practice. Critically, I am not looking for someone who has litigated mortgage servicing matters, but I’m looking for a regulatory attorney who has expertise in this
Candidates:
- Open to Associates and Partners but must have at least 3-4 years of mortgage servicing regulatory experience.
Experience & Role Details:
- Mortgage servicing assessments, audit and/or helped with enforcement actions, investigations or exams in this space.
- Advised on setting up mortgage servicing programs
- Advises mortgage lenders, financial institutions, and consumer finance companies on regulatory compliance and enforcement matters
- 1700 hours
- Open to in office, remote or hybrid
- Small firm with top tier attorneys and clients
Compensation:
- Variable on experience and other factors
- Associates likely $200k - $300k
- Partners variable based on book. The firm is also open to unique compensation structures.
