A high growth, PE backed industrial Services company in Irving, TX is seeking a temporary Legal and Risk Administrator. This position is responsible for a wide variety of contract administration duties.
This is a long-term contract assignment and is fully onsite in Irving, TX
Pay: $28.00-35/hr DOE
Type: Temporary – long term
Location: Irving, TX – In office
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and administer contracts, bids, and proposals per the requisite specifications and in compliance with all policies and regulations.
- Support Sales and Account Management with the negotiation of mutually agreeable terms and conditions, ensuring compliance.
- Participate in contract negotiations with customers and suppliers.
- Liaise between the Company and contractors/suppliers ensuring contractual requirements are maintained.
- Ensure collection of fully executed documents.
- Work heavily in Salesforce to document all legal and risk related items and track open items.
- Open and track all client questionnaires, profiles and related non-legal documents to completion
- Review all contractual documents associated with bids and RFPs
- Develop and maintain ongoing master questionnaire document by comparing responses on new documents to existing master.
- Serve as a backup for other members of Legal/Risk Department
- Other duties may be added as the role develops and evolves.
Requirements:
- 7+ years' experience within contract administration and / or compliance.
- Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA/MA preferred
- Experience working with complex contracts and bids in a publicly traded company
- Strong understanding of contracts, contract governance, language, and lifecycle
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create relationships with clients and suppliers
- Critical thinking skills, ability to research and understand legal and financial implications
