Program Manager
W2 Contract
Salary Range: $135,200 - $156,000 per year
Location: Austin, TX - Hybrid Role
Job Summary:
As a Program Manager, you will work with a global cross-functional team to lead resources, prepare appropriate documentation based on the project size, delegate tasks to team members, effectively and clearly communicate project status, manage project risk, monitor the change readiness of the business as well as conduct post-implementation audit reviews. You will oversee all aspects of project information, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, scope, and definition, and provide oversight of a global portfolio of projects.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve as liaison to operation teams to develop systems solutions (requirements, user testing, etc.) to support Supply Demand Management (SDM) programs.
- Work with key cross-functional partners to survey customers and associate feedback to identify program improvement opportunities for implementation.
- Act as a liaison between the business teams and IT to ensure that the business requirements are complete and met by the proposed technology solutions
- Drive the design, development, implementation, and management of SDM solutions customers
- Work with business leads to define and manage business processes and technology roadmaps supporting long-term divisional strategies.
- Influence decisions and change management through collaboration, leadership, and a customer-focused approach.
- Develop and maintain key project governance documentation to ensure the proper structure is applied to enable project success.
- Gather and synthesize detailed, global business requirements and design specifications.
- Facilitate project-related testing, roll-out, and post-mortem work.
- Provide timely updates and elevate critical risks to project management and senior-executive teams.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred
- Proven track record of leading strategic projects combined with the ability to execute tactical project-level activities and tasks
- Broad supply chain management exposure with expertise in logistics, fulfillment, retail, or Supply Chain Operations; experience driving supply chain process improvement or advanced planning system implementation projects is preferred.
- Experience planning, managing, and delivering medium (6-8 months) to large (8-12+ months) projects.
- Able to manage deadlines and meet cost constraints.
- Proficient at managing multiple efforts simultaneously in a global company.
- Excellent communication across project and management teams
- Exceptional leadership skills that enhance project team effectiveness.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Knowledge of systems implementations and development life cycle
- Proficient in business process flow diagramming
- Able to facilitate brainstorming sessions to gather requirements.
- Can perform robust business process analysis and recommend solutions.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and basic project planning tools
