Field Service Engineer - Advanced X-ray Metrology

Location: Boise, ID (Initially, there will be travel for training for the first several months)
Our client is a pioneer in X-ray analytical technology. We seek a talented Field Service Engineer to support our cutting-edge semiconductor metrology equipment.
Your Role:
- Be the expert: Install, maintain, and repair various analytical X-ray systems.
- Solve challenges: Troubleshoot complex electronic and mechanical issues.
- Empower customers: Provide comprehensive training and support.
- Travel for training initially. Then, you would be assigned to a dedicated customer in Boise
Your Profile:
- Associate degree in Electronics Engineering (or equivalent).
- Valid driver's license and passport.
- Ability to obtain security clearance.
- Passion for technology and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
Education and Experience requirements:
- Military technical training or an Associate's degree or higher in Electronics or a related field is desired. Military training in the following fields is desired: Avionics, Electronics, Fire Control, Nuclear, Computer/IT, or Electrical/Electrician.
- 4-8 yrs engineering technician/service experience.
- Working engineering and hands-on troubleshooting background are required.
- Skilled in installation, preventative maintenance, job start-up, and customer service skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with X-ray equipment maintenance and repair.
- Bilingual in Japanese
