Role: Planning and Scheduling Lead

Position Description:
- Perform or coordinate effort for cost estimate preparation, estimating oversight and quality assurance reviews for company operated and other builder operator estimates for all Gate and Funding milestones.
- Schedule preventive maintenance to meet regulatory compliance and reliability expectations.
- Work with internal experts and third-party vendors to enhance current technology, bolt on other current software programs, and view new technology.
- Advises Project Controls Lead and Project Leadership Team of any potential schedule issues and when necessary, provides guidance on, corrective action and measures to mitigate any adverse trends.
- Reviews project changes to evaluate detail schedule impact; responsible for quantifying and incorporating the effect and impact of approved changes in the overall schedule stewardship and reporting.
- Responsible for maintaining change control, cost reports, etc. while working with project estimator, planner / scheduler and Client’s accounting staff.
- Coordinate and assemble the monthly progress reports and work closely with client’s project manager and team leads for regulated and non-regulated accounting reporting requirements.
- Negotiate and broker successful solutions between Internal Coordination parties above
Requirements:
- Bachelors of Science Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Construction Management.
- 5+ years prior industrial experience in Planning and/or Scheduling optimization
- Experience using scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project or equivalent.
- Knowledge of Gas Plant operations a plus
- Knowledge of E-maintenance software a plus
- Strong influencing, consulting, mentoring, analytical, and computing skills
- Ability to demonstrate initiative, teamwork, accuracy, effectiveness, and self-confidence.

Pay: $84.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
