Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Customer Service Representative to support clients with their life insurance needs. This role begins with in-person training in Cary, NC, transitioning to a remote setup after the nesting period. If you enjoy problem-solving and providing excellent customer experiences, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, providing outstanding service related to life insurance policies.
- Assist customers with enrolling or changing their life insurance coverage, confirming or changing beneficiaries, and explaining policy provisions.
- Process transactions, prepare correspondence, and fulfill customer requests to ensure satisfaction.
- Utilize pre-established guidelines to perform job functions while adapting to customer needs.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance service delivery and foster a positive work environment.
Requirements:
- Ability to report to work in person for training Monday-Thursday, transitioning to virtual training on Fridays.
- Must have a quiet, secure workspace with high-speed internet (500-650 kbps); hotspots and Wi-Fi are not permitted.
- Availability to use video during interviews, coaching, and training sessions.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts within operational hours of Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 11:00 PM EST.
- No planned time off during the training and nesting periods.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required; 1-3 years of customer service experience is preferred.
Training and Timeline:
- Anticipated Class Start Date: 11/18/2024
- In-person training: 11/18/2024 - 12/31/2024 (8:30 AM - 5:00 PM EST, with a 30-minute lunch)
- Nesting Period: 1/2/2025 - 1/15/2025
Equipment Coordination: The client will provide all necessary equipment, including a laptop, two monitors, keyboard, mouse, and docking station. Equipment must be returned within one week of assignment completion.
