Position Title: Contracts Manager
Duration: Permanent
A leading construction company is looking for a Contracts Manager to join their existing team and start contributing to an increased workload. This person will independently review, negotiate, and suggest language in contracts.
Your Responsibilities
- Negotiate and review customer contracts and agreements, ensuring all terms are understood and beneficial for both parties.
- Oversee accounts receivable for the region, ensuring timely payment collection and addressing overdue accounts.
- Track payment deadlines to maintain statutory and contractual rights, such as liens and bond rights.
- Collaborate with branch managers and support staff to address payment disputes and resolve issues like change orders or back charges.
- Proactively engage with customers to address concerns, propose solutions, and maintain positive relationships.
- Conduct regular meetings with branch and regional staff to review delinquent accounts and discuss project-related concerns.
- Maintain accurate, thorough documentation of all customer accounts and ensure the confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
Requirements: - Bachelors Degree OR Paralegal Certification
- 2+ years of experience reviewing & negotiating contracts, & drafting contractual language
- Microsoft Word, Excel, or other systems
