Position: Project Manager - Solar/Renewables
Location: Wall Township, NJ
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Oversight: Manage construction and implementation of renewable energy projects, ensuring alignment with design, budget, and timelines.
- Site Management: Conduct pre- and post-construction site visits, inspections, and manage remedial actions.
- Contract Management: Review contracts, ensure constructability, adherence to schedules, and apply losses/damages for non-compliance.
- Maintenance: Schedule and manage maintenance and repairs, including large O&M outages.
- Technical Oversight: Interpret construction and electrical plans, review for adherence to standards, and manage permitting and interconnection.
- Stakeholder Relations: Maintain effective relationships with contractors, owner’s representatives, and property owners.
- Asset Management: Provide insight into asset performance and manage startup, commissioning, and testing for new projects.
- Reporting: Develop reports and presentations for senior management.
- Mentorship: Mentor less experienced employees.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in project management (minimum 5 years).
- Experience: Proven track record managing large-scale construction projects in solar, construction, or renewables.
- Skills: Strong communication, leadership, and technical review abilities.
- Certification: Professional Engineer (PE) license or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
- Travel: Up to 40%-50% travel outside of NJ.
