We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Financial Coordinator/HR to join our team at Sandstone. The Financial Coordinator/HR will play a key role in managing financial operations, including billing, collections, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare finance and a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the billing process, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing for services rendered.
- Manage accounts receivable, including monitoring outstanding balances and coordinating collections efforts.
- Complete onboarding/orientation for new hires.
- Complete Bi-weekly payroll.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, providing insights and recommendations to management.
- Coordinate with insurance companies and other third-party payers to resolve billing issues and ensure timely reimbursement.
- Assist with the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations related to healthcare finance.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
- Address resident and family financial inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Support the facility administrator with financial planning and decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare finance or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of billing and collections processes in a healthcare setting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with financial software.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
