About the Role:
As a Technology Architect, you’ll be responsible for designing and overseeing the implementation of scalable and efficient technology infrastructures that align with our strategic goals. You’ll work across departments, ensuring technology is optimized for today’s needs while preparing us for tomorrow’s growth.
Key Responsibilities:
đź’ˇ Technology Strategy Development:
- Design and maintain the company’s technology architecture blueprint.
- Align technology initiatives with business goals, driving innovation and operational efficiency.
- Research and recommend new technologies that align with our long-term strategy.
🔧 System Design & Integration:
- Create robust solutions that integrate with our current systems and processes.
- Lead the planning and execution of technology projects, ensuring they meet specifications.
- Collaborate with external vendors and internal teams for seamless system integration.
🛡️ Risk Management & Compliance:
- Identify potential vulnerabilities in the tech infrastructure and create risk mitigation strategies.
- Ensure all technology implementations comply with relevant industry standards and regulations.
🚀 Performance & Scalability:
- Optimize technology for peak performance and scalability.
- Continuously monitor performance metrics and adjust as needed.
đź’° Cost Management:
- Develop cost-effective solutions while staying within budget.
- Provide cost-benefit analyses for technology upgrades and investments.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in technology strategy development, system design, and risk management.
- Strong knowledge of emerging technology trends, especially in the heavy civil construction industry.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to advocate for and drive technology best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with IT systems and data analysis.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of working with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience in project management and implementation of Technology.
- Must be willing to travel to construction jobsites and office locations.
- Knowledge of the civil construction industry is a plus.
