Our client is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join their team in Leesburg, Virginia.
The firm is a general contractor and design-builder. They work on a variety of construction projects including government facilities, airports, schools, universities, and housing authorities. The HR generalist would be the HR Directors right hand!
The ideal candidate would have a minimum of 3 years of human resources experience!
Responsibilities
- Oversee full cycle of recruitment efforts
- Develop and oversee new hire orientation, onboarding efforts and employee termination process
- Assist with payroll and benefits administration
- Developing and updating HR policies and procedures to align with organizational goals and legal requirements
- Supporting initiatives that improve organizational culture and employee engagement
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Human Resources, or related area
- 3+ years' of experience working in Human Resources
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
