JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for the day-to-day casino slot performance, and slots & arcade operations of all ships, all brands. Maximize revenue and maintain all slots and technical equipment. Liaise with ship and shore side departments to maintain best in class operations and be directly involved in all new build and dry dock projects involving casino slot operations and arcades.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee the entirety of the slot and amusement machine operations with constant review and analysis of the onboard offering for maximum appeal and revenue opportunity.
- Direct changes/updates to themes and denominations as needed to maximize revenue, using internal and external analysis tools.
- Maintain operability of all machines used by the onboard operations are adequately supplied with spare parts in a timely manner, with all necessary equipment, by coordinating with the ships and the Purchasing department.
- Oversee the prize selection and manage inventory levels for the amusement products.
- Ensure onboard staff adheres to department policies and procedures; routinely reviews policies and procedures and makes recommendations for improvement.
- Meet with onboard management and staff to discuss and assess casino operational concerns.
- Compile and produce operational reports on shipboard casino slot and amusement operations for Vice President of Gaming Operations.
- Analyze slot and amusements results and makes recommendations for improvement.
- Liaise with slot technical staff to ensure slot and video games follow established control procedures.
- Meet with prospective suppliers regarding new products and seeks competitive quotations for selective equipment.
- Recommend CAPEX projects that add value to the operations, using analytics to define success of the project where applicable.
- Assist in the design and layouts of all new build and casino modification projects.
- Perform other job-related functions as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
DEGREE TYPE: Bachelor's Degree
FIELD(S) OF STUDY: Electronics Engineering
EXPERIENCE:
- 10 years' casino slot technical experience with minimum of 5 years in Casino Management.
- 5 years' slot performance analysis.
COMPETENCIES/SKILLS:
- Strategic planner with sound judgment.
- Analytical ability and operational focus.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to interface and maintain effective relationships internally and externally.
- Project and time management.
