GNR has been retained by a high-performing division, of a well-known, international organization in search of a business-savvy DIRECTOR of PROGRAM MANAGEMENT OFFICE (PMO) to run critical DEFENSE & MILITARY programs.
This is a “highly visible” position where you will be an integral part of the EXECUTIVE LEADERSHIP team involved with policies, best practices, strategic planning & organizational development.
We’re looking for a proven LEADER with a strong Mechanical or Electronics Engineering background + business acumen and finance / budgeting experience to navigate program challenges, contracts, P&L performance, and ensure on-time delivery.
- Reporting directly to the GM, you will manage a program office of 45+ team members and 11 direct reports (PMs, Contracts & Field Services)
- You will collaborate across other functional areas and manage a sizable team on the development & delivery of multiple multi-million-dollar programs.
REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS:
- Minimum of 5 years DEFENSE / MILITARY programs leadership experience for Mechanical or Electronics required (NOT IT, SW, CYBER or Services related)
- Experienced with program full life cycle: customer engagement, contracts & proposal negations (FAR/DFAR req'd),
- Product development: design through production and delivery.
- Review internal procedures and resources to enhance the organization's operations and program performance.
- US Citizenship required + DoD clearance is a plus
