JOB OVERVIEW:
Dolce&Gabbana Beauty Americas is seeking an experienced and dynamic Events Manager to oversee and execute high-profile events across the Americas region. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Head of Communications to manage the full event planning and production process, ensuring alignment with brand standards and global guidelines. This role involves coordinating events in the USA and collaborating with local teams in distributor markets.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Event Execution:
o Develop and manage event plans from conception to execution, including venue selection, logistics, and vendor coordination, ensuring they align with Dolce&Gabbana's brand standards and objectives.
o Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors on all aspects of the event planning process including but not limited to event orders, prop sourcing, permits and security.
o Oversee event setup, execution, and teardown, ensuring all aspects are delivered to the highest standards.
o Report effectively all the activations and events to regional and HQ teams.
o Collaborate with the global team to secure approvals and ensure adherence to brand standards and guidelines.
· Budget Management:
o Create and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness while meeting quality standards.
· Vendor Coordination & Management:
o Source and negotiate with vendors, including caterers, entertainment, and production companies, to secure the best services and pricing.
o Manage relationships with event vendors, including caterers, decorators, AV technicians, and entertainment providers.
o Liaison with vendor on contracts and payments.
· Guest Relations:
o Manage guest lists, invitations, and RSVPs, and ensure a high level of customer service throughout the event.
o Work with IM & PR Agencies to keep track of guest list and attendees reporting back on status and proactively making suggestions to ensure guest count is complete and to brand standards.
· Post-Event Analysis:
o Conduct post-event evaluations to assess success and identify areas for improvement.
o Track and analyze event performance metrics and KPIs to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
o Ensure effective coverage of events through various media channels.
o Provide actionable insights for future events.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Marketing, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
· 5 + years of proven experience in event planning and management, preferably within the beauty or luxury sector.
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Positive and focused professional team player
· Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
· Appreciation and understanding of the luxury industry
· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software.
· Flexibility to travel as required.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
· Willingness to travel as needed to support influencer events and local market efforts.
· Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
