We are seeking an experienced Network Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installations and decommissions, configuring, managing, and maintaining essential network devices, and creating resilient networks.
We need someone with skill set around Mellanox IB switches & DGX H100. It will include Rack and stack, Caballing, Labelling of DGX, UFM & IB Switches giving Remote access.
Responsibilities:
- Installations and Decommissions: The Network Technician will be responsible for the installation and decommissioning of network equipment, including rack and stack, cable management, and more.
- Network Configuration: The technician will configure, manage, and maintain essential network devices such as switches, routers, and more.
- Network Segmentation: The technician will use devices such as switches and routers to segment network traffic and create resilient networks.
- Network Assessment: The technician will identify benefits and drawbacks of existing network configurations and recommend improvements.
- Network Security: The technician will implement network security, standards, and protocols to ensure the security of the network.
- Troubleshooting: The technician will troubleshoot network problems and provide solutions to resolve issues.
- Virtualized Networks: The technician will support the creation of virtualized networks.
- Cabling: The technician will be responsible for cabling of routers and servers, including UTP cables, fibre optic cables, Twinax cables, and power cord cabling.
- Equipment Mounting: The technician will mount Mellanox IB switches & DGX H100. It will include Rack and stack, Caballing, Labelling of DGX, UFM & IB Switches .
- Equipment Installation: The technician will install the Mellanox IB switches & DGX H100. It will include Rack and stack, Caballing, Labelling of DGX, UFM & IB Switches giving Remote access.
Requirements:
· Associates degree in Computer Science, Networking, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
· At least 2-3 years of experience in network installation and configuration.
· Strong knowledge of network security, standards, and protocols.
· Experience with switches, routers, and other network devices.
· Knowledge of cabling and cable management practices.
· Familiarity with virtualized networks and their implementation.
