Role Description - hybrid or remote
We are seeking a full-time Director of Accounting to support our clients and client relationship team. In this role, you will be working in a very dynamic and integrated manner to manage the integrity of financial transactions (expenses, cashflow, investments, partnerships, intra-entity) in Sage Intacct. Work closely with Director of Reporting and client teams to deliver timely reports; both standard and bespoke. Our work is very detailed, hands-on while also being able to take a step back and see the big picture. We roll up our sleeves. We are in the process of building a tech stack (Intacct, Addepar, etc.) to be more dynamic for the future; must be willing to embrace technology.
Qualifications
- CPA
- 10 years relevant work experience
- Previous experience in a family office
- Strong background in accounting and/or tax with client service focus
- Partnership accounting or tax experience with single family office, CPA firm or investment management firm
- Proficiency in accounting software (Sage Intacct a plus) and MS Excel
- Sophisticated personal finance background
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
