Job descriptionA full-service creditor's rights law firm based in Northern Kentucky, with a statewide presence in Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney with multiple state licenses.
Description:
The Associate Attorney will be responsible for the day-to-day task related to civil litigation, including research, providing legal advice, negotiating settlements, and representing clients in court, providing guidance and oversight to non-attorney staff to ensure efficiency and compliance with laws, regulations, client contractual requirements, court rules and best practices. The role requires strong analytical and communication skills, especially communicating effectively through emails as well as the ability to work within a team and maintaining high quality legal services in a high-volume and fast-paced environment. At least 3 years-experience in creditor's rights required. Experience in representing creditors and knowledge of Replevin and Bankruptcy is a plus! Salary commensurate with experience.

Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (J.D) degree from an accredited law school.
- Licensed in and in good standing in Ohio, Kentucky or Indiana.
- Licensed in more than one state a plus.
- 5-7 years experience in creditors rights, replevin, impound and bankruptcy.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Strong legal research skills
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Strong writing and analytical skills, attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills, and the willingness to work hard in a fast paced environment.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and ability to learn new software.
- Ability to manage others.
- Must have a positive attitude, be a team player, and demonstrate problem solving skills and flexibility.
- Must understand the important role this position plays in the overall success and growth of the business, and seek to contribute to an evolving company.
- In Office. This is not a remote position.
- Occasional travel may be required for this position.
