Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and approachable Help Desk Support professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in a similar role and will be responsible for providing technical support to students and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Student Support: Provide in-person technical assistance to a high volume of students, addressing their hardware and software issues promptly and effectively.
- General Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues related to computers, printers, scanners, and other peripherals. This includes handling password resets and other common technical problems.
- Equipment Management: Occasionally transport and set up equipment such as printers from storage areas to various locations as needed.
- New Staff Setup: Assist in the onboarding process for new staff members by setting up their office equipment and ensuring their workstations are fully operational.
- Windows Environment: Maintain and troubleshoot systems within a Windows operating environment.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a help desk or technical support role.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Familiarity with Windows operating systems.
Compensation: $23/hr to $26/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
