Key Areas of Responsibility:
This is a hands-on Machinery Design & Engineering role. This person needs to have a background in designing heavy machinery, mechanical design/engineering, working in hydraulics, Pneumatics, doing hands on calculations. This person should be a strong communicator, can work independently and efficiently who is a problem solver. This person will be involved in proposals, animations for the customer, mechanical design, supporting assembly, working directly with the customer and supporting a nuclear quality control program.
Mission: There are 177 underground storage tanks at the DOE Handford Site. This person and team are building and designing the equipment that cleans every nuclear waste tank at the facility. This is a 20 year long project and partnership supporting Hanford.
