Job Title: Jr. Workforce Specialist
Location: National Harbor, MD (Onsite)
Type: Temp-to-Perm (90 days)
Compensation: $15/hr.
Cloudforce is seeking a junior HR professional with excellent organization and project management skills to support our recruiting process from start to finish. As a Junior Workforce Specialist, you will be responsible for posting job openings, sourcing candidates, scheduling interviews, and other recruiting and general HR items as tasked. You may also be involved in supporting job fairs, marketing open positions, attending workforce events, and other pipeline activities. You will work directly with the HR team and assist with all recruiting and workforce duties.
To be successful in this role, you should have outstanding communication skills and a willingness to learn about our services and relevant technologies to better inform your examination of candidate resumes. You will help promote our brand and the exciting opportunities available through multiple channels – including our website, job boards, social media, job fairs and events – ensuring that we attract, hire, and retain an elite force!
Responsibilities:
- Support Workforce Specialist with recruitment duties.
- Post and track job opportunities across various recruitment platforms.
- Source passive candidates using specific position qualifications.
- Track open positions and maintain the candidate pipeline using Lever.
- Coordinate with candidates at various stages of the hiring process through multiple mediums (email, phone and in-person meetings).
- Schedule and coordinate interviews with various stakeholders.
- Communicate with candidates promptly and assist them when coordinating interviews.
- Attend recruiting events, such as job fairs and hackathons.
- Engage on other short- and long- term recruitment improvement projects and initiatives.
- Assist with recruitment marketing efforts.
- Assist with other HR related tasks and employee engagement events.
- Assist in the coordination of internship programs.
- Other duties, as assigned.
Requirements:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Advanced interpersonal skills.
- Excellent decision-making and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to juggle multiple calendars.
- Self-confident, dependable, and able to work independently.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint).
Desired Skills:
- Understand recruitment lifecycle of an organization.
- Experience working in a small, agile company, supporting multiple efforts, including those not directly aligned with your formal role.
- A desire to advance to a more senior Recruiter role, long-term.
- Degree in HR, Business, Psychology, Communications or relevant field.
