Our Wisconsin based client is seeking a Sr. Staff Engineer to help modernize and re-architect systems in AWS. You’ll collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, and QA Engineers to drive innovation and scalability.
Core Responsibilities:
- Architect and develop cloud solutions using AWS and C#.
- Lead efforts to modernize legacy systems into scalable AWS environments.
- Mentor engineers on AWS best practices and Cloud Native development.
- Write and maintain unit/integration tests.
- Participate in code reviews and support code deployments.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in C#, SQL, JavaScript, .NET Framework/Core.
- Extensive AWS Cloud development expertise.
- Strong background in domain-driven design, microservices, and event-driven architecture.
- Agile (Scrum) experience.
Bonus Skills:
- AWS certifications (Certified Developer - Associate preferred).
- SaaS, actuarial science, or insurance background.
- Familiarity with HIPAA/PCI compliance.
- DevOps knowledge and test-driven development.
