About The Role:
As a Fullstack Software Engineer, you'll work alongside a small group focused on building new ideas and technologies from the ground up for our core product offering. You’ll be creating prototypes and proof of concepts that could eventually scale into our core consumer platform and shape its future. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role where you’ll be able to work end-to-end on 0 to 1. What You’ll Get To Do:
- Collaborate closely with members of the product management and user experience to transform strategic ideas into working prototypes and launchable productsCollaborate on new API architectures and components, working with technical leadership and other engineers.
- Develop end-to-end solutions, building both the front-end and back-end components of innovative products.
- Use your full stack development skills to experiment, validate, and deliver scalable, user-centered applications.
- Engage in a flexible, collaborative working environment, with opportunities to influence the long-term technical vision of projects.
- Be able to think creatively and build a wide array of different technical products.
- Be part of a “scrappy” team that values agility, resourcefulness, and innovation over rigid processes.
- Interact with Product Management to refine product requirements; work efficiently in a cross-functional team across multiple projects.
- Be a self-starter and be able to solve engineering problems with limited guidance.
What You’ll Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years of experience working on functional programming languages, specifically Javascript or Python.
- Must-have skills: Solid understanding of front-end technologies, specifically web technologies like React or Vue, and thorough knowledge of Node.js
- Proficient in developing APIs and building scalable cloud architectures, with extensive experience in platforms like AWS.
- Strong fullstack engineering skills and the ability to build, experiment, and iterate on ideas quickly.
- Experience building systems end-to-end, from front-end interfaces to back-end services.
Preferred competencies:
- Nice-to-have skills:Mobile experience with Flutter is a big plus. React Native experience also notable.
- Familiarity with Kotlin, offering valuable flexibility for cross-functional projects. Java experience also highly notable.
- Strong fundamentals on SLDC such as code reviews and CI/CD systems.
- Experience with highly concurrent, highly available, and highly fault-tolerant distributed systems.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, problem solving and analytical thinking skills.
- Ability to be self-guided and come up with technical approaches even with limited requirements.

This position may be eligible for participation in our employee bonus program. Grade level and salary ranges are determined primarily through the scope and complexity of the role along with a review of the applicant’s experience and skills, as well as alignment with geographic market data and equity with other team members.
