We are looking for an experienced HVAC Engineering Manager to join our team and take the lead on exciting and complex projects in San Jose and the surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead HVAC engineering efforts for ground-up and tenant improvement construction projects.
- Oversee design, planning, and implementation of HVAC systems for life science buildings, multifamily buildings, and other commercial projects.
- Collaborate with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Provide technical guidance and support throughout all project phases, from pre-construction to completion.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations.
- Manage and mentor junior engineers and technicians on the HVAC team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in HVAC engineering with a focus on life science, multifamily, and commercial construction projects.
- Proven experience with both ground-up and tenant improvement projects.
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, building codes, and mechanical engineering principles.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
