Seeking an intelligent senior SDET (meaning minimal hand-holding)
Must have’s
- Java /Engineering: Must be as strong in building up(java engineering) as they are breaking down (testing).
- Either super super SMART in general or has Authentication / Authorization or identity access management domain like Forgerock, Ping Identity, SAML, OIDC, OAuth, Basic Auth, Challenge/Response, etc. Could have worked at a company that creates those types of products (Okta, AuthO, CyberArk,etc or been on a team that was producing these technologies.
- API/UI test automation
- (if they do not have all the above skills, then should have) Performance, load testing (Gatling is a bonus; there’s also Loadrunner, jmeter, SOAPUI etc). if they have the security + great java/testing, then they do not need performance/load testing
- SQL
Great to have
- ForgeRock would be a slam dunk!!!
Nice to have’s
- AWS (ex Fargate, sqs, ecs, etc.)
- Strong dynamic communicator
