We are the National Foundation for Infectious Diseases (NFID), located in Bethesda, MD. Since 1973, we have been dedicated to healthier lives for all through the effective prevention and treatment of infectious diseases across the lifespan. We are searching for a detail-oriented Education Programs Coordinator to support live and online professional education activities including conferences, courses, and webinars. Reporting to the Director, Professional Education, and working with the NFID staff team to ensure all professional education activities are successfully executed, the core responsibilities for this position include:
- Speaker and logistical management for all professional education activities, including activity registration and evaluation processes, as well as strategic analysis of program results
- Ensuring compliance with NFID policies and processes to maintain ACCME accreditation and other third-party accreditations as appropriate
- Supporting Continuing Professional Education and activity planning committees
We are interested in hearing from you about this rewarding opportunity if you have the following skills and experience:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience in a healthcare/public health related environment or a non-profit setting
- Excellent organizational, oral/written communication skills, and customer service skills, with an eye for detail
- Strong project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Knowledge of ACCME, ANCC, and ACPE guidelines a plus
