HealthCare Recruiters International (HCRI) is currently seeking an experienced Medical Assistant that has worked extensively as a Medical Receptionist. The MA will work as a full-time dedicated Medical Receptionist position within a thriving, patient focused, outpatient practice in Visalia, CA.
**The qualified candidate must be an experienced Medical Assistant and have experience as a receptionist within a busy Medical Practice.
- MA will work Monday through Friday, 8 hours per day
- MA will provide professional receptionist services
- MA will greet patients, check them in for appointments, confirm schedules, and handle cancellations
- MA will answer patient and families’ inquiries, and route medical questions to medical team
- MA handles all billing questions, process payments, and pre-authorizations
- MA will room patients as needed or step in to support medical team when needed
- MA will be able to provide basic patient education, and field small inquiries at the check-ins as needed
- MA will provide compassionate communication with families and patients in all interactions
Medical Assistant, MA, CMA, RMA, Medical Receptionist Requirements:
- Certification as Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
- 3-5 years’ relevant experience in Medical Reception
- Strong communication, ability to multi-task
