Overview
We are looking for a skilled Data Integration Specialist to join our Acquisition Data Team. The ideal candidate will excel in integrating data, covering the entire process from collection and cleaning to transformation and loading of data from various external sources into our internal systems. This role is essential for ensuring our data's accuracy, consistency, and reliability. The primary focus will be on developing a sustainable strategy for the intake, processing, cleansing, and loading of acquisition data.
This is a direct hire/permanent position which will be 100% onsite in Mendota Heights, MN. Target compensation is between $120,000-140,000.
Candidates must be local to Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN metro area and must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship both now and in the future.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand and define data integration requirements and goals.
- Gather and collect data from external sources such as databases, APIs, and file systems.
- Cleanse, transform, and standardize data to maintain accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
- Develop and maintain data integration pipelines and workflows.
- Monitor data quality and resolve any issues that arise.
- Improve data integration processes for increased efficiency and scalability.
- Document data integration processes and procedures comprehensively.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data integration and management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Over 10 years of demonstrated experience as a Data Integration Specialist or in a similar role.
- High proficiency in SQL and scripting languages like Python or Java.
- Experience with ETL solutions such as Snowflake preferred.
- Strong knowledge of data modeling and database principles.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
