Our client is located in the Lawrence area and is seeking an experienced HR Director to join their rapidly growing organization. The HR Director will manage HR operations for the local manufacturing company as well as provide strategic oversight and direction for HR practices throughout the entire organization. This role is 100% in-office.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a strategic HR partner to executive and senior management of the organization. Additionally, function as a hands-on HR leader at the local manufacturing company level.
- Provide overall guidance in all aspects of human resources including compliance, change management, talent acquisition, systems, employee relations, talent acquisition, engagement.
- Share input and provide processes & procedures for business continuity as the company grows through mergers and acquisitions.
- Develop and implement an organizational structure and succession planning strategy.
- Standardize performance management and compensation practices across the footprint of the organization
- Drive change management and cultural alignment initiatives for consistency as the company grows.
- Prior experience building and managing a human resources team.
- Travel one week per month as business needs require.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a Human Resources leader within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Desire to function in both a strategic and tactical capacity while working in a fast-paced environment experiencing rapid growth.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or an equivalent area. HR Certification is preferred but not required.
