Position: Project Engineer
Location: Decatur, IL
Position Summary:
As a Project Engineer, you will develop and implement critical equipment utility plans, perform system evaluations, and enhance operational efficiency. You will play a key role in facility modifications, equipment installations, and maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with facility security and DEA monitoring requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze data, blueprints, and reports to determine facility and equipment specifications.
- Maintain up-to-date facility process flow and sampling drawings.
- Prepare project budgets and analyze costs.
- Oversee facility expansion and quality control systems.
- Evaluate operational systems to improve efficiencies.
- Coordinate maintenance schedules and oversee contractors.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years in a facilities engineering role or similar.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and SAP preferred.
- Strong project management skills and knowledge of facility codes.
Must-Haves:
- Pharmaceutical industry experience.
- Operational knowledge of Water for Injection systems and HVAC.
- Understanding of quality management systems (QMS).
