Geheber Lewis Associates (GLA) is a full-service architectural firm currently searching for an early-career architect to join us in developing construction documents and design solutions for residential multi-family rental apartments, student housing and active adult living spaces. Key Responsibilities
- Walking the path of an architect: document high-quality projects from Design Development through Construction Administration by collaborating with the overall design team and through strong mentorship and supervision from their office studio team.
- Enjoying relationship building: develop and maintain rapport with our expanding, small studio team and local construction site teams.
- Being excited about graphics: learn new software platforms quickly and efficiently through in office training programs and materials, as well as self-directed study and practice.
- A passion for constructability: focused on realizing projects efficiently, economically and safely through research, practical execution and a desire to learn and draw how things come together.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture from an accredited college or university.
- 1-2 years of experience in architectural design.
- A problem-solving mindset with a focus on documentation efficiency improvement.
- Working knowledge of and experience with ArchiCAD or similar BIM applications.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- Architectural License or desire for licensure
- Willingness to travel
