Title: Lab Tech I
Duration: 12 months (High possibilities of extension)
Location: Waco TX - 76712
Pay range: $18-$21
*Shift: Tuesday - Saturday, 8 AM - 5PM
Description:
- Perform routine analytical testing to support quality control testing of pharmaceutical products.
- Some data interpretation required.
- Coordinate testing of samples and input data into computer application.
- Should have good laboratory skills, preferably in pharma/biotech.
- Experience in operating analytical equipment preferred (analytical balance, total carbon analyzer, spectrophotometer, pH meter).
- Should exhibit good problem solving skills. Should possess computer skills as well as good communication skills.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or biochemistry or Associate’s degree
What are the top 5 skills/requirements this person is required have?
- Basic HPLC instrumentation in a laboratory setting/GMP Laboratory Setting experience
- Data acquisition software (Chromeleon, Chem station, Empower)
- Wet Chemistry techniques
- Experience with pharma/biotech quality control testing is preferred but not required.
