We are looking for an experienced Paid Search Specialist to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for developing and executing ecommerce PPC strategies that drive high-quality traffic to achieve monthly sales goals. You’ll be managing campaigns with six-figure average monthly ad spends across Google PMAX/Shopping, Search, YouTube, Display/Video, Bing Ads, etc.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage large-scale paid search, shopping, & video campaigns across multiple ad platforms including but not limited to: Google Ads, Bing Ads, YouTube and Criteo.
- Collaborate daily with cross-functional teams to plan and develop comprehensive strategies to drive new user acquisition and product sales to meet monthly goals.
- Assure conversion tracking is QA’d within the platforms to track all pertinent events within the sales funnel.
- Analyze bids for SKUs, keywords, day parts, devices, demographics, and location targeting.
- Continuously monitor and improve search term mapping, ad relevance, expected CTR, and landing page experience through A/B testing.
- Collect and analyze campaign performance data, including click-through rates (CTR), conversion rates, cost per acquisition (CPA), and return on ad spend (ROAS).
- Compile weekly, monthly, and lifetime reports with key performance metrics to quantify results and develop recommendations for growth and improvement
- Stay current on digital marketing best practices, search engine advertising policies, search engine algorithm updates and industry wide e-commerce trends
Qualifications and Skills:
- A comprehensive understanding of the Google Ads auction, general advertising ecosystem, best practices, bid and optimization strategies, and campaign objectives.
- 3+ years of experience with Google Ads budgets exceeding $600K annually.
- Experience with Google Analytics and Tag Manager, ability to flag issues/errors and help troubleshoot.
- Experience managing feeds and setting up Google Merchant Center for ecommerce.
- Microsoft Excel proficiency – you’re comfortable executing VLOOKUPs, Text-To-Columns, concatenations, conditional formatting, ROI analyses etc.
- Adapts quickly to changing circumstances demonstrating flexibility and an open attitude towards new approaches and strategies.
- Certification in Google Ads and/or other relevant digital marketing certifications is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
