Responsibilities of the Legal Assistant
- Help draft and file legal documents while keeping precise records of case files, documents, and correspondence.
- Efficiently coordinate attorneys’ schedules to facilitate smooth appointment management.
- Perform legal research to support ongoing cases and assist with the discovery process.
- Provide crucial administrative support, including filing, data entry, and document preparation.
- Manage sensitive and confidential information with utmost discretion.
Qualifications of the Legal Assistant:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in litigation or assisting with personal injury cases.
- Familiarity with legal terminology and procedures.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, e-filing systems, and relevant legal software.
- Capable of maintaining professionalism and composure in high-pressure situations.
Salary:
$50,000-$60,000 per year
