Russell Tobin & Associates is supporting a world-class organization that has an opening for Occupational Health & Safety Coordinator in Plainfield, IL.
The Occupational Health & Safety Coordinator will support the development and execution of safety programs at the Plainfield Global Supply facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate safety programs (Safety Shoe, Hearing Conservation, Drug Testing, etc.)
- Manage workers’ compensation claims and return-to-work programs
- Conduct health assessments, screenings, and workplace safety audits
- Provide training (CPR, First Aid, Bloodborne Pathogens, etc.)
- Ensure OSHA compliance and maintain health records (HIPAA)
- Lead safety audits and wellness programs (vaccinations, screenings)
Qualifications:
- Associate’s Degree in Applied Sciences (Nursing) with a current RN License preferred
- 3-5 years of Occupational Health & Safety experience
- OSHA 10 certification required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong communication, presentation, and leadership skills
Additional Info:
- Flexible shift timings, occasional night shifts required
- Must be comfortable interacting with union members and promoting a positive safety culture

- Pay range: $25-$30/hr. on W2
