We have partnered with a leader in the development of zero-emission solutions, particularly in the medium-duty electric truck. They have an urgent requirement for a highly skilled and motivated Control Engineer with expertise in vehicle integration.
In this role, you will play a critical part in developing and implementing advanced control systems that drive the performance and efficiency of cutting-edge electric trucks and buses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop control systems for electric vehicle applications, with a focus on seamless vehicle integration.
- Implement and test control algorithms to optimize vehicle dynamics, safety, and overall performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, electrical, and software engineers, to ensure the successful integration of control systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to vehicle control systems, ensuring reliability and robustness.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts, enhancing the performance and efficiency of our electric vehicles.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in control systems design and vehicle integration, preferably within the automotive or EV industry.
- Strong knowledge of control algorithms, vehicle dynamics, and powertrain systems.
- Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink, C/C++, or similar programming environments.
- Hands-on experience with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) and software-in-the-loop (SIL) testing.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
