The Underwood Law Firm is a boutique real estate and business litigation firm looking for an Associate Attorney with 0 to 5 years of experience to join our rapidly growing team. Responsibilities:
- Drafting pleadings, discovery, and legal correspondence
- Arguing in court
- Developing litigation strategies to help clients achieve their goals
- Reviewing and investigating legal claims
- Conducting legal research and writing, including complaints, discovery, briefs, and letters;
- Appearing for court and depositions;
- Negotiating settlements with opposing counsel and clients
- Reporting to firm management.
Qualifications:
- California Bar License
- At least five years of recent California litigation experience
- Strong interest in the firm's practice areas (Real Estate/Business/Civil Litigation)
- Attention to detail
- Excellent research, writing, and communication skills
- Self-motivated
- Commitment to ethical practice
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team
- Values high quality work and intellectual curiosity

Location:
Attorneys can work remotely from home, or from a nearby office in Orange County.
