Job Summary:
This position is responsible for maintaining production standards to meet client requirements. Key duties include scheduling, communication, productivity management, labor controls, and ensuring high levels of quality and customer service.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate services between departments and manage activities on the receiving dock.
- Assign tasks to team members and manage operational schedules.
- Ensure all necessary equipment is available and operations run according to schedule.
- Develop labor forecasts and monitor compliance with safety procedures.
- Support teams with any operational changes or delays.
- Maintain communication with key operational personnel.
Qualifications:
Education:
- High School diploma or GED required; some college preferred.
Work Experience:
- 3-5 years of supervisory or management experience required.
- Experience in scheduling and labor forecasting preferred.
- Background in food service or catering operations is desirable.
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing a team of 20-30.
Technical Skills:
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and leadership skills required.
- Basic computer proficiency necessary.
- Valid driver's license required.
Language/Communication Skills:
- Bi-lingual abilities are a plus.
