Position Overview:
We are seeking an Engineering Project Manager II with specialized corrosion experience to join our team. This role will focus on mitigating the effects of corrosion in our steam gathering systems, enhancing both short-term and long-term operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will balance fieldwork with office responsibilities, collaborating closely with various teams to implement effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Corrosion Management:
- Evaluate and implement methods to minimize corrosion in steam and condensate pipelines.
- Develop and improve processes to reduce corrosion effects and enhance equipment design.
Project Oversight:
- Manage projects aimed at enhancing corrosion monitoring and mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution and alignment with organizational goals.
Field and Office Work:
- Conduct field assessments and inspections to identify corrosion-related issues and assess the effectiveness of implemented solutions.
- Analyze data and prepare reports to support decision-making and process improvements.
Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies related to corrosion management.
- Lead initiatives to modify existing processes and develop new strategies for corrosion reduction.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering, specifically with a focus on corrosion management.
- Proven track record in project management and process improvement.
Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
