We are currently looking for a Junior Editor to be part of our team based in Los Angeles.

You will be a part of the team at Made In Network that is responsible for all production and content creation for a specific project, working alongside the strategy, creative, and project management teams. You will be responsible for the edits on which you are assigned and will report to the Project Lead on that particular project. Candidates should be proficient in editing long-form and short-form social videos and will be expected to engage in creative conversations around the development of content. The ideal candidate will be a willing participant in all parts of the creative process.
Candidates will be expected to work at an office in Los Angeles, CA, with the option to work from home.
This position will focus primarily on social/marketing editorial, including 9x16 vertical social media edits for platforms like TikTok, Instagram Stories, and Snapchat. However, there is potential for growth into long-form content editing down the road. Additionally, the role may evolve to include working on episodes or ad work as a utility player when needed.
Content Creator Responsibilities:
• Edit long-form and short-form content for the Project Lead to review, refine, and approve.
• Work efficiently to support the Project Leads in all creative endeavors.
• Execute processes and best practices established by the Project Lead and Production Leadership Team.
• Always looking for additional efficiencies and collaborates with Project Lead for implementation.
• Proficiencies required in the Adobe Suite, specifically Premiere Pro.
• Basic understanding of audio mixing for video required.
• Resume and video reel required.
• Create and cut together promotional and marketing content for multiple platforms.
• Nimble: Comfortable working in an environment where priorities occasionally shift.
• Collaborative and focused on the collective success. We’re an ego-free workplace.
The ideal candidate has or does most of this stuff:
• 2-3 years experience in video production, editing, graphics, or another related field.
• Basic understanding of YouTube (YouTube Certified is a plus).
• 2-3 years experience and high proficiency with Adobe software-Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Time management skills.
• Strong decision-making skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to maintain several different projects simultaneously.
• Excellent writing skills.
