Technology Coordinator
Office of the Clerk
The Supreme Court of Appeals of West Virginia has an immediate opportunity for a Technology Coordinator in a full-time position within the Office of the Clerk in Charleston, West Virginia. This position reports directly to the Clerk of Court.
Position Summary:
At the direction of the Clerk, this position will assist in the focus on coordination, administration, and support for various technologies employed by the Office of the Clerk over which the Office of the Clerk has responsibility. The successful applicant will help with website content development, administration of a case management system and e-filing system, argument broadcasting, and other tasks as assigned by the Clerk.
Key Responsibilities:
· Update website content relevant to Clerk’s Office operations
· Administration of software systems for the Clerk’s office
· Coordination of audio and video live-streaming court functions.
· Other duties as assigned by the Clerk of the Court to support the offices’ operational needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Education:
A high school diploma is required.
A college degree in Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Technical Proficiency:
Strong understanding of computers, related devices, and information processing concepts. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical staff.
Salary and Benefits:
The annual salary is $40,000-$60,000 plus benefits, dependent on West Virginia State Bar status and experience. State benefits offered include medical insurance, optional flexible benefits coverage (dental, vision, disability, and excess medical), life insurance, defined benefit pension plan, Section 457 deferred compensation plan, thirteen (13) paid holidays, and annual and sick leave.
