Summary of Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The Document Coordinator plays a crucial role within the Supply Chain organization, supporting both service and new product development. We are looking for an enthusiastic, detail-oriented self-starter with a passion for enhancing existing processes and systems. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, the ability to juggle immediate and long-term priorities, exceptional multitasking abilities, and the capability to build strong relationships with suppliers. The role is responsible for managing business processes related to vendor approval and documentation collection, data management, and material supply coordination. Key responsibilities include the timely collection of vendor quality documents, daily oversight of the TraceGains supplier management system, assistance with integrating a recent acquisition into the TraceGains system, data collection for new material introduction, and managing material orders within certain areas of the supply chain.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Gather and maintain all FSMA and TraceGains-related information.
- Collaborate with TraceGains to enhance system efficiency and integrate the recent acquisition into the platform.
- Partner with Procurement and Product Development teams to collect data for setting up new materials.
- Assist with material ordering within specified areas of the supply chain.
- Provide support to other members of the Procurement team as needed.
- Work closely with the Warehouse and QA teams to request necessary documentation.
- Help maintain system parameters for efficient operations.
- Develop and update standard work procedures related to the role.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve current practices through process improvement initiatives.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
