We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of complex construction projects. This role is critical to ensuring the safe, timely, and budget-conscious delivery of large-scale facilities. The Construction Manager will work closely with project management, engineering teams, and subcontractors to ensure high-quality outcomes that align with technical and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of construction projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
- Collaborate with project management, procurement, and engineering teams to develop and maintain detailed construction plans and schedules.
- Enforce site safety standards and regulatory compliance, conducting regular safety audits and ensuring a safety-first culture on site.
- Coordinate and oversee subcontractors and on-site personnel, ensuring efficient operations and alignment with project goals.
- Monitor the quality of all work performed to ensure it meets technical specifications, codes, and industry standards.
- Oversee material deliveries and inventory management, ensuring timely and correct installation of project-specific infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or delays that arise during construction, including logistics, permitting, and external factors such as weather.
- Communicate regularly with project stakeholders, providing updates on progress, budget status, and any potential risks or necessary changes.
- Review and approve contractor invoices, change orders, and maintain project documentation.
- Oversee the project closeout process, including final inspections, punch lists, and handover of completed facilities to operations teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 10+ years of experience managing large-scale construction projects in technical or industrial environments.
- Deep understanding of safety regulations and construction best practices, with experience managing large teams and subcontractors.
- Strong experience in scheduling, cost control, and project management software tools (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project).
- Familiarity with large-scale infrastructure systems, including piping, equipment installation, and technical facilities.
- Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
- OSHA safety certification (or equivalent) preferred.
This will be a contract position through Worldwide Recruitment Solutions, expected duration is 12 months.
