LITIGATION PARALEGAL SUPERVISOR
Seeking an experienced Paralegal to serve as a Litigation Supervisor within a fast-paced legal environment. The role involves coordinating and overseeing work assignments for a team of legal secretaries and paralegals, providing training, problem-solving, and workflow management. The ideal candidate will be cross-trained in various legal areas, including litigation, claims, and foreclosure, and will have substantial experience in managing a legal team.
LITIGATION PARALEGAL SUPERVISOR REPONSIBILITIES
· Supervise a team of secretaries and paralegals, providing complex guidance and support to attorneys as needed.
· Lead and coordinate daily workload, assigning tasks and ensuring workflow efficiency.
· Address day-to-day personnel issues and collaborate with HR on any arising disciplinary matters.
· Stay updated on court protocols and effectively communicate changes to the legal and administrative teams.
· Schedule meetings and assist with special projects as needed.
· Prepare and process legal documents, including pleadings, motions, legal opinions, briefs, and agreements.
· Compose routine correspondence and manage electronic or physical filing of documents with the court.
· Monitor court or clerk websites for case updates and maintain accurate information in case management systems.
· Communicate with clients to provide updates and address inquiries as required.
· Manage a high volume of case files while ensuring accuracy and timely responses.
· Perform additional duties as assigned.
LITIGATION PARALEGAL SUPERVISOR REQUIREMENTS
· 10+ years of paralegal experience, preferably within debt collection or litigation.
· Paralegal certification preferred.
· Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and productivity.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, Adobe) and experience with case management software.
· Familiarity with court web-based systems, including True Filing/MiFILE and PACER.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
