Job Description
My client, a distinguished industry leader in manufacturing, is looking for a Microsoft Dynamics AX/F&O Finance Consultant to manage and configure financial workflows within the Microsoft D365 F&O platform. This role focuses on manufacturing costing, budgeting, and forecasting, and requires a candidate with strong analytical skills and experience in manufacturing.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage D365 F&O financial workflows, with a focus on costing, budgeting, and reporting.
- Ensure accurate manufacturing cost calculations, covering materials, labor, and production overheads.
- Support month-end/year-end closes, audits, and general accounting processes.
- Develop financial reports and dashboards on key metrics like COGS, gross margin, and production efficiency.
- Optimize D365 F&O configuration to align with business operations and ensure data accuracy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial decision-making and process improvements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 5+ years in finance or accounting roles, with manufacturing costing expertise.
- Proficiency in Microsoft D365 F&O finance modules and Power BI.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
- ERP system experience in manufacturing; CPA/CMA certification is a plus.
