Tegria is looking for an Engineer who has exclusively worked on Wi-Fi technology.
Responsibilities:
- Configure and deploy Cisco Catalyst Wireless LAN Controllers (WLCs).
- Configure and deploy Aruba 8.x Wireless Controllers, Aruba Campus APs and RAPs.
- Collaborate with endpoint/business owners, support the endpoint testing and migration in collaboration with Network, Firewall teams.
- Perform Wi-Fi Survey to identify coverage gaps, channel overlap and overall network health. (Using Ekahau Pro)
- Provide the survey findings and propose the remediation/optimization plan with the predictive design. (Using Ekahau AI Pro)
- Refresh end of life Wireless hardware in coordination with network, facilities and cabling/installation vendor.
- Provide Wireless network operational supporting end user tickets related to connectivity, authentication, roaming, slowness and other network related problems.
- Configure and deploy Cisco Catalyst Wireless Controller in DMZ for Guest traffic anchoring.
- Create new IP Subnet, DHCP scope in Infoblox IPAM/DHCP.
- Deploy Aruba UXI & Wyebot Sensors in the Clinics and Hospitals.
The role you play
Client Engagement Delivery
- Working independently or as part of a healthcare IT project team on a client engagement
- Serving as an Epic liaison between diverse IT and operations groups
- Utilizing, reviewing, and creating project tools and templates for healthcare IT or operations focused projects
- Creating and maintaining project plans for Epic go-lives, upgrades, or application implementations as applicable
- Evaluating and documenting current-state processes through discovery and analysis.
- Building, testing, training, converting and/or deploying new infrastructure, workflows, policies, and processes
- Documenting measurable outcomes resulting from initiatives through KPI analysis and impact tracking
- Effectively utilizing communication, decision-making, and escalation pathways
- Executing effective project wrap-up through outcomes documentation, lessons-learned, and leave-behind materials allowing customers to sustain ongoing operations
- Mentoring customer counterparts for successful, long-term ownership and growth in their Epic IT or application area.
Internal Tegria Coordination
- Submitting timesheets and expenses at the end of each week without delay
- Completing status reports as needed by your client and Tegria
- For specific large projects, attending project team check in calls as needed
- Completing onboarding requirements in a timely manner
- When you contract is done, returning your equipment in a timely manner
What we’re looking for
We expect:
3-4 years of experience in the following:
- Configuration and deployment of the Cisco Catalyst Wireless LAN Controllers and Cisco Wireless Access Points.
- Configuration of mobility groups, WLAN profiles, RF Profiles, SSID anchoring, Wireless 802.1x, AAA & Captive Portal.
- Configuration of Aruba 8.x Wireless Controllers, Campus & Remote APs.
- Wireless Survey and design using tools like AirMagnet, Ekahau or Hamina.
- Troubleshooting Wireless Client connectivity issues, roaming and able to perform/analyze Wireless PCAP.
- Configuration of port-channel (LACP), VRRP/HSRP, and Infoblox DHCP/DNS.
- Configuration and management of Cisco ISE, Cisco Prime & Cisco Catalyst Center/DNA Center.
- Basic configuration and troubleshooting on Cisco Nexus and Catalyst Switching platform.
- Comfortable with working remotely and/or traveling to client sites
- W2 project-based consultants will be expected to provide a computing device that adheres to industry standards and security best practices to use in satisfying the Project Services on behalf of Tegria.
We’d love to see:
- Experience across multiple healthcare organizations
- Prior consulting experience
- Demonstrated ability in project, risk, or change management
- Formal project management certification – either PMP or CSM
- Formal process improvement certification – ex: Lean Six Sigma or ITIL
