Insight Global is seeking a Patient Access Site Director to support their healthcare client in Worchester, Massachusetts. This individual will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the Patient Access Department and implementing process improvements in order to ensure accurate and timely movement of patients through the patient access flow. This Director will have one direct report, but will oversee about 45 full-time employees. We are looking for a candidate that is metric-driven, organized, and collaborative with experience meeting with and presenting to c-suite executives.
Responsibilities:
- Implement process improvements as needed to meet the goals of both Conifer and its clients. Focus on achieving metrics and identifying opportunities for improvement through collaboration and positive relationships with peers.
- Develop and execute action plans as necessary.
- Manage budgets and costs effectively.
- Understand and articulate all aspects of Patient Access, including technology, processes, and regulations.
- Oversee staffing activities in your area, including documentation, staff selection, wage and salary management, orientation, and training. Mentor supervisors and ensure staff are engaged and aligned with the strategy, mission, and goals. Communicate proactively with your supervisor to support your own growth.
- Collaborate with Client Services to address client needs and requests related to Patient Access without disrupting established efficiencies or workflows.
- Communicate and resolve issues that may affect performance, including those related to technology or processes.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong understanding of all aspects of Patient Access operations
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5+ Years of management experience in a revenue cycle or acute health care environment
- Proficiency in regulatory requirements
- Thorough knowledge of insurance

- Certified Healthcare Access manager (CHAM)
