Skills Required
- Knowledge of different cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
- Experience with graphic design and multimedia development.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Proven experience as a Technical Writer, preferably in the cybersecurity field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts and principles.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in authoring tools such as MadCap Flare, Adobe RoboHelp, or Microsoft Word.
- Experience with content management systems.
Experience Required
- Develop and maintain a wide range of cybersecurity documentation, including:
- Policies and procedures System documentation User manuals and guides
- Training materials Incident response plans Security awareness materials
- Collaborate with cybersecurity team members to gather information and ensure technical accuracy.
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear and easy-to-understand language.
- Adhere to style guides and templates to ensure consistency and quality.
- Use a variety of authoring and content management tools.
- Manage documentation review and approval processes.
- Stay up-to-date on cybersecurity best practices and industry trends.
- Contribute to the development of knowledge base articles and FAQs.
- Assist with other cybersecurity-related tasks as needed.
Education Required
Bachelor's degree in English, Technical Writing, Computer Science, or a related field.
Education Preferred
Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, Security+) are a plus.
