Position: Java Engineer
Location: North Phoenix AZ
Duration: Permanent/Direct-Hire
- Up to 2 years of software development experience in a professional environment – React, Java, JavaScript
- Build and integrate contextual data into actionable visualizations
- Function as member of an Agile scrum team working on prioritized product backlog
- Analyze/refine business features and user stories with Product Owner to support design and build activities
- Possess excellent verbal/written communication and negotiation skills
- Implements integration with external systems
- Self-motivated and driven to identify and deliver appropriate solutions
- Understanding of CI/CD process and tools like – Git, Docker, Jenkins, XL Release etc.
- Write and develop Java programs, implement APIs using Spring Framework, and perform maintenance on existing software
- Designs, codes, tests, maintains, and documents application components
- Takes part in reviews of own work and reviews of colleagues' work
- Defines test conditions based on the functional and non-functional requirements provided
- Understands the core tools used in the planning, analyzing, crafting, building, testing, configuring, and maintaining of assigned application(s)
- Monitors system performance and availability and improves software quality through root cause analysis
- Familiar with infrastructure technologies and components
