Job Summary
We seek an experienced Senior Plumbing Project Manager to oversee large-scale commercial plumbing projects, including tenant improvements and specialty installations. This role requires advanced knowledge of plumbing systems and expertise in managing complex project lifecycles from initial planning to successful execution. The ideal candidate is proficient in project estimation, scheduling, and client management, with a deep understanding of construction management and a stable local work history.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all phases of commercial plumbing projects, ensuring timely delivery within scope, budget, and schedule. Manage teams and subcontractors to maintain project quality and compliance with safety protocols.
- Prepare accurate cost estimates and budgets, optimizing resources to maximize efficiency. Monitor expenses and project performance throughout the lifecycle, making adjustments to meet financial goals.
- Maintain and build strong client relationships by ensuring high-quality service and clear communication and identifying new business opportunities for continued growth.
- Work closely with estimators, superintendents, and other key stakeholders to coordinate project schedules, resolve issues, and maintain adherence to quality standards.
- Use industry software such as Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, and Trimble AutoBid to track project progress, review plans, and prepare reports. Ensure all project documentation is accurate and up to date.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, related field, or equivalent industry experience.
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in commercial plumbing project management, mainly focused on tenant improvements and large-scale commercial projects.
- Proficiency in Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, and Trimble AutoBid for estimation, project planning, and performance tracking.
- Strong familiarity with Orange, CA building codes, regulations, and local construction practices.
- Demonstrated local and stable work history, reflecting long-term reliability in the commercial construction sector.
